Destination Cuba in the Milan International Tourism Exchange

Cuba presents its main offers at the Milan International Tourism Fair, an event that ends this Tuesday in this Italian city.

The aim is to keep operators and travel agencies informed of the tourism potential and news of the destination Cuba and to consolidate its position in the Italian market, said Minister of Tourism at the island’s embassy in Italy, Madelén González-Pardo, quoted by PL .

Strengthening the promotion of heritage cities, as well as nature, history, culture and beautiful beaches, including in particular Cayo Largo del Sur and Varadero, venue of the 40th edition of the FitCuba 2022 Tourism Fair, which will be held from May 3rd to 7th Destinations of the Cuban Stand in Milan .

González-Pardo recalled that the interest of the Italian market in Cuba is still alive and reiterated that this country is one of the main sources of tourism to Cuba, which is still being worked on.

Ambassador Mirta Granda and González-Pardo are leading the Cuban delegation, which also includes the Gran Caribe, Cubanacán, Islazul hotel chains and related groups Meliá Hotels International, Iberostar and Blue Diamond Resorts, Accord, NH, Muthu and Roc Hotels.

The travel agencies Cubatur, Viajes Cubanacán, Gaviota, Paradiso, Havanatur Italia, the airline Cubana de Aviación and the main Italian tour operators associated with Destination Cuba also take part.

The Milan International Tourism Fair takes place at the Fiera Milano City convention and exhibition center and is attended by 843 exhibitors from 32 countries, including Italy.
