Pure chaos reigns in Russia: according to Wagner’s boss, Prigoschin, Russian troops reportedly bombed and killed soldiers of the Wagner group.
On Friday, Wagner’s boss Yevgeny Prigozhin explained on his Telegram channel that the Russian Defense Ministry had bombed his “own” mercenary group. According to Prigoschin, a “very large” number of Wagner mercenaries were killed by the attacks.

A few hours earlier, Wagner’s boss posted a video on Telegram in which he exposed one of the main propaganda messages that Russia is using to justify its attack on Ukraine. “Evil Must Be Stopped”
Now the next line: Wagner’s boss accuses the Russian Ministry of Defense of bombing his mercenary force fighting on the Russian side. A “very large” number of Wagner mercenaries were killed by helicopter strikes, Yevgeny Prigozhin wrote on his Telegram channel on Friday.
The leadership of the mercenary group had made a decision: “The evil brought about by the military leadership must be stopped,” wrote Prigozhin. The information is from the German newspaper “Bild”. Wagner’s boss issued a stern threat to the Russian military leadership: “Those who destroyed our boys today, who destroyed tens of thousands of lives of Russian soldiers, will be punished.”
Declaration of war on the Ministry of Defense?
In his Telegram group, he urges the Russian military not to resist his Wagner mercenaries: “Anyone who tries to resist will be considered a threat by us and destroyed immediately, including all checkpoints in our path. And all planes that come upstairs.”
It’s unclear what exactly the revenge action should look like. In Telegram, Priogshin claims that his enemy Shoigu has already fled from Rostov-on-Don. War insiders even speak of a “declaration of war on the Ministry of Defence”.
A backlash from Moscow followed immediately: Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu denies any attacks on Wagner’s soldiers. According to Russian military bloggers, the Ministry of Interior’s national guard has already been put on alert. “President Putin has been informed about the current situation in Prigozhin and all necessary measures are being taken,” said Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov.
nervousness in the Kremlin
According to the state news agency Tass, according to Prigozhin’s statements, a case was initiated for inciting an armed uprising. The National Counterterrorism Committee urged PMC founder Wagner to stop his illegal activities.
