Sam fell ill shortly after returning to the UK from a luxury ski holiday in Val-d’Isère in the French Alps with her partner Paul Knightley and their children Paul Jnr, seven, Rosie, five, and baby Edward.

Over the holidays, Sam shared a video of the kids skiing and expressing pride in how they got into skiing.

She told fans: “Paul Rosie’s first time on the right slopes… so proud of these two! Thank you Paolo for being a great coach.

“As you can see the skiing conditions were difficult today and visibility was poor. Such an amazing experience watching my babies ski down a (kindergarten) mountain.’

December wasn’t easy for Sam as earlier this month she opened up to her fans about a difficult week as a mother of three that left her feeling “like cr*p”.

The former TOWIE star welcomed her third child Edward in May this year and has been open about her busy schedule as a mother of three little ones as well as her work commitments.

The TV personality reminded her followers that she “can’t always rule everything” and that while social media looks glamorous, “let’s face it, it’s 2% of reality,” she wrote.
