According to initial medical examinations this Sunday, Mouctar Diakhaby suffered a dislocation in his right knee. It is not possible to know exactly how long the Valencia centre-back will be out, but it is a fact that he will miss the rest of this season.
The injury occurred last Saturday in the match between Valencia and Real Madrid, when Diakhaby was involved in an accident with Aurelien Tchouaméni, in which the Madrid midfielder fell on his rival's leg and the knee of the Franco defender. The game was stopped for a few minutes due to the shock of the remaining players. Diakhaby left the field on a stretcher to applause and then left Mestalla in an ambulance to spend the night in hospital. According to the Valencian company, the first evaluations have been carried out there and new tests are waiting.
