Latin America must become more integrated
With regard to the Latin American region, he referred to the demand for ever greater integration, which he classified as a duty of all Latin Americans.
This meant that world relations were based on the aggressive policies of the United States, constantly building walls, using coercive sanctions, blackmail, aggression and slander.
A totally unfair and undemocratic international economic order prevails, he stressed, pointing to the fact that Washington’s hegemonic policy is reflected in the total control of the world economy by this government and organizations such as the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank.
Brics vs. Cold War concepts
In this sense, Díaz-Canel praised the leadership of the Brics Group, a bloc made up of Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa that defends multipolarity and multilateralism in the relationship.
The Brics propose an opposition to Cold War concepts, they offer the possibility of a fairer, fairer international economic order, they promote more cooperative relations between countries in economic and trade relations, said the Cuban President.
