Dick Van Dyke showed his battle wounds Friday after his latest car crash and claimed the airbags did not deploy during the crash.

The beloved “Mary Poppins” icon, 97, was spotted out with his wife, 51-year-old Arlene Silver, and a younger pal.

Van Dyke pointed out two stitches in his chin after his car accident last week.

“I’m fine – I’m just in pain all over,” he proclaimed in video taken Friday, assuring people he was “pretty fine.”

“The airbags didn’t deploy so I just had a face plant right in the steering wheel and it just made me a little bit dumber,” he quipped with his infamous grin.

He brushed off concerns about his well-being and said he was “fine”.

“I’m 97 — all my friends are dead,” he said, adding that he’s still “having fun.”

Van Dyke previously said he was “just glad to still be here”.

On March 15, the famed actor crashed his silver Lexus into a gate in Malibu while driving in wet conditions, apparently losing control of the steering wheel.

Photos from the accident show Van Dyke with blood on his mouth and nose, and paramedics were treating him at the scene for his injuries and a possible concussion.

On his public outing on Friday, he appeared in good spirits despite the collision.

Officials don’t believe alcohol or drugs were involved in the slippery accident, but they reportedly demanded that the actor retake his driving test with the California Department of Motor Vehicles.

Just months earlier, the “Chitty Chitty Bang Bang” star was seen lamenting the Golden State’s drought and wishing for a rainy season while visiting one of his favorite nonprofits in October 2022.

“Will it ever rain?” he asked at the time he was spotted driving the same vehicle involved in this month’s unfortunate crash.

A decade ago, Van Dyke was involved in another auto debacle when his vehicle caught fire.

In 2013, the celebrity was driving on a California highway when he noticed smoke billowing from the hood of his Jaguar.

A hero promptly pulled to the side of the road, rushed to the star’s aid and pulled him out of the car just before it burst into flames.

The inferno set fire to the luxury car, but luckily Van Dyke escaped unscathed.

“It just started making noises and at first I thought I had a flat tire, then it started smoking, then it burned crisply,” he said at the time of the incident.
