Sean “Diddy” Combs responded to rumors that he wanted to fight with Will Smith over a three-way proposal with Jada Pinkett Smith and his ex-girlfriend Jennifer Lopez.
The 53-year-old musician appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live on Monday to promote his new album “The Love Album,” but the conversation ended after Kimmel asked the rapper about the rumor.
The rumor in question speculates that Smith, 55, and his wife Jada, 52, allegedly suggested a threesome to the 54-year-old Let’s Get Loud singer. Diddy and Lopez were together from 1999 to 2001.
“Speaking of love,” Kimmel said as he interrupted Diddy, who was talking about his Love album. “I saw a guy on the internet the other day. He said he used to be your security guard who said that when you were with J.Lo, Will Smith and Jada tried to get you to have a threesome and you wanted to beat up Will Smith. Is that true?’
Diddy took a long pause as he looked at Kimmel, confused at the question, before replying, “Yo, this show has gotten even crazier since the last time I was there. ‘NO.’

“But it’s all about love.” Isn’t that right?’ Kimmel responded, confusing the record producer even more.
“You really heard that?” Diddy asked about the rumor about him and Lopez, who famously wore a plunging Versace dress while dating the Harlem-born hip-hop star.
“Yes, yes, I saw it on the Internet. “Are you telling me I can’t believe everything I read?”
“I don’t know what you’re talking about,” he replied, adding, “Jimmy, I thought we were friends.” Where did this interview just go?
The rest of the conversation revolved around his first project in 13 years, The Love Album.
“I incorporate all of my heartfelt concerns into my songs.” I pride myself on being vulnerable in my love life, which is why I made an album called “The Love Album.” “This is about my love life,” he explained.
He also talked about the meaning of the word love and why he changed his middle name to Love.
“I changed my name to Sean Love Combs. I’m serious about love, y’all. I am completely focused on love. I just decided that I’m going to be love all the time.’

Diddy never married, but his most serious relationship was with the mother of three of his six children – Kim Porter – who died of pneumonia in 2018 at the age of 47.
He dated Porter from 1994 to 2007.
Diddy’s interview comes after Jada recently opened up about her marriage to Will in her new memoir, “Worthy,” in which she detailed their seven-year separation.
She left her fans and critics open-mouthed when she revealed that she and her husband had been separated for seven years, despite giving the impression of a happily married couple.
Despite the split bombshell, Jada later told Extra that she and Will had actually “found their way back” to each other — and that divorce was “off the table.”
“The idea that we were separated for seven years and that we’re still separated after the Oscars put us back on the path, you know, and I think that part was left out of the narrative,” she said.
Jada also recently admitted that she decided to stay by Smith’s side when he slapped Chris Rock at the Oscars last year.

The Matrix star revealed how she and Will made the mutual decision to work towards a “non-traditional relationship” given their past.
“I would say that Will and I chose a relationship that was in line with our desires and so we broke up and then the Oscars came along and we’re definitely on a different path.”
“But I’m certainly not going to say it’s done in a traditional way.” “We’ve decided to live together in a way that works for us.”
Jada released the book on October 17th.
