Award-winning prizefighter Dillon Danis has revealed where he gets his money from despite a long period of inactivity in the fight game.
The Bellator MMA star has not competed in a professional fight since June 2019, but appears to be living his life to the fullest, as evidenced by his social media channels.
Danis, who has made a name for himself by trolling other martial artists and celebrities online, says he charges £12,350 ($15,000) per sponsored Instagram story and relies almost entirely on his social media fame.
“I’m rich now, buddy,” Danis told Ariel Helwani during a recent appearance on The MMA Hour.
“I don’t understand why no one understands how I make money when my Instagram account is so popular.” “I get paid $15,000 for a story, so more than that for a story and a tweet.”

Danis will face Logan Paul in a six-round bridgerweight bout on October 14th
Danis began his martial arts career as a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu practitioner and won the prestigious Pan IBJJF Jiu-Jitsu No-Gi Championship in 2016 – attracting the attention of MMA bosses around the world.
In 2018, he signed with industry giant Bellator MMA and made his debut in April of that year, winning via toe hold submission against Kyle Walker.
He followed that up 14 months later with another submission win over Max Humphrey before subsequently being sidelined by a nagging knee injury.
Danis passed up several big wins over the next few years, including an influencer boxing match with KSI in January that was canceled after the American pulled out due to “poor preparation” for the competition.
It seemed like Danis would never make his long-awaited comeback, but he is now scheduled to face Logan Paul on October 14 as part of the KSI vs. Tommy Fury bracket in Manchester.
Ahead of the row, Danis posted a series of unsavory posts about Paul’s fiancée Nina Agdal, which led to the model filing for a restraining order.
According to court documents, Agdal is also suing Danis for “revenge porn” after the 30-year-old allegedly posted a “sexually explicit photo” of her that was taken without her consent, according to the lawsuit.
