The event, attended by President Dina Boluarte and members of the APEC Private Sector Host Committee from the United States, highlighted Peru’s riches and strengths, which have led the country to maintain a favorable macroeconomic environment for years.
“As host of APEC 2024, Peru is ready to demonstrate its strengths, not only as a welcoming host, but also as a dynamic economy with open arms for trade, investment and cultural exchange. Our economy is strategically positioned in the heart of Latin America and with the upcoming port of Chancay we will strengthen our position as a hub between both sides of the Pacific,” emphasized Zavala.
