Record presence at the 2023 classic car show
Stoessing. In the changeable summer weather, more than 200 vintage cars, from tractors, trucks, cars, motorcycles to bicycles, took part in the 2023 vintage car meeting on Saturday, June 17, 2023 at the former “Gasthof zur Luft” in Bohnleiten 17. At this event they showcased their treasures, around 900 visitors came to admire the beautifully restored and well maintained vehicles. For many classic car lovers, driving their treasures is a special experience. This was the answer when questioned by the district newspapers, by the participants.
Among the visitors were Mayor Christian Walzl and Mayor A. D. Alois Daxböck and Franz Atzinger sighted. Hermann Zinner and Johann Popelka recalled the Steyr trucks.
Thomas and Magdalena Hajek often visit classic car meetings, Josef Stadlmannn was there with his MS 50 moped, Rudi Glatzmaier with a Harley Davidson, Richard Wiesinger with a revolving firemen’s ladder, Alois Berger with a Lindner tractor. The Laabental Racing Team ensured the organization’s success, there was much praise from the many visitors and we are already looking forward to the next meeting in 2024.
