Windows 11 23H2 – Windows Update
Windows 11 feature update 23H2 is available for download. The operating system is intended for all eligible Windows PCs that are not affected by the three known errors.
This update is also known as Windows 11 Update 2023. It offers few new features, knowing that the essentials were provided with “Moment 4”.
Windows 11 23H2, the new features
The most remarkable fact is probably related to the functions of artificial intelligence. Copilot makes these first steps into a still unknown field possible. It is an AI-powered assistant via GPT-4 service. Its strength lies in its direct availability in the operating system.
The second new feature targets the contents of the taskbar. The chat app is replaced by the Teams client. By default, it takes the form of an icon pinned to the taskbar.
The settings also benefit from some adjustments with an evolution to the “Battery and power supply” section. Power management information is available, while Windows 11 can generate a comprehensive report with data on the PC’s energy consumption. It is also possible to follow the developments of the last 24 hours and the week and monitor the consumption of each application. For its part, the “Dynamic lighting” section offers the possibility of controlling the RGB lighting.
Finally, the system supports new file compression formats such as .rar, .7z, .tar, .tar.gz, .tar.bz2, .tar.zst, .tar.xz, .tgz, .tbz2, .tzst and .txz.
