Disgraced Congresswoman Lauren Boebert could suffer a humiliating defeat before the election after she was thrown out of a theater for her terrible behavior.
Boebert placed fifth out of nine candidates in a straw poll after a debate for Colorado's Fourth District, sparking widespread ridicule even among Republicans.
Logan County Commissioner Jerry Sonnenberg topped the poll of 100 voters and, despite her name recognition, is considered a serious challenge to Boebert.
Boebert was elected to the Third District in 2020 and became one of Donald Trump's most vocal supporters, but announced in December that she was moving to the Fourth.
Plagued by scandal since her debauchery and obnoxiousness at a screening of the musical “Beetlejuice” in September, she has faced stiff competition from Democrats and will instead fight for the solid Republican seat.

She was caught intensely petting with boyfriend Quinn Gallagher, waving her hands, singing loudly, photographing the show, taking selfies with the flash on and smoking vape.
When staff asked the couple to leave, she refused, saying: “Don't you know who I am?”, bared her teeth and gave them the finger – all caught on camera.
A tidal wave of criticism followed, and Boebert initially lied about her actions and dismissed the scandal before being forced into an embarrassing apology.
She claimed the district change was “a fresh start for me and my son” after her very public divorce and likely defeat as her backup plan didn't go well.
Boebert received just 12 votes from debate viewers, behind Sonnenberg with 22 votes and former Colorado House Minority Leader Mike Lynch with 20 votes.
Others who received more votes than her included filmmaker and radio host Deborah Flora, with 18, and House Minority Leader Richard Holtorf, with 17.
Boebert attended the debate with her grandson Josiah after becoming a grandmother last year at age 36.
Her dismal results even prompted her Republican colleagues to mock her over the scandal and question whether she would even be able to win the primary.

Trump-supporting Congresswoman Lisa McClain roasted her with a joke at the Washington Press Club Foundation on Wednesday.
“If everyone could, please keep your hands above the table. “And I know for some of you it's date night, but no inappropriate touching,” she said in a speech.
“That includes you, Lauren Boebert. No vaping either.'
McClain also mocked George Soros, who was forced to leave Congress after extensively lying about his background, as an “Oscar winner, Emmy winner, two-time Olympian.”
She also warned guests to be careful with silverware and their gold chains around Senator Bob Menendez, who is facing bribery charges for allegedly accepting gold bars as payment.
Republican Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene also warned Boebert that she should be “very concerned” after the straw poll result.
“I saw that she was ranked fifth in the straw poll over the weekend, which is something she should be very concerned about,” Greene told The Hill.
“I think this is a serious primary and it seems like there are some good candidates there.”

Greene said it remains to be seen what happens with the polls in the Colorado district, but she has no plans to enter the race yet.
“I think she has to earn the support of these people,” she said of Boebert.
Congresswoman Jasmine Crockett, a Texas Democrat, also mocked Boebert's poor result on Twitter.
“Before I go to bed, I thought it would only be appropriate to send thoughts and prayers to my colleague Lauren Boebert,” she wrote.
“As far as I know, she was ranked 5th in her first poll of the election cycle. Now, how many of you think BoBo is going to try to convince us that polls don't matter?[?]'
Former New York Assistant Attorney General Tristan Snell attributed the poor performance to her “giving up her congressional district because she would lose.”
Boebert came under fire from other candidates on the issue during the debate when Lynch asked them to give him “the definition of carpetbagger.”
“Is that a Mary Poppins question?” So yeah, I moved to the fourth district. My boys and I needed a fresh start. “It was very public,” she replied.
“Harvests may be different in Colorado’s 4th District, but values are not.”
Boebert was also reminded of this when she criticized former Democratic state Rep. Kerry Donovan in 2021 for running for the Third District when she didn't live there.
“Running for office is a calling, not a career move,” she said at the time.
“Perhaps Ms. Donovan should focus on where she lives, works and votes rather than trying to bolster her political position by cozying up to people she doesn’t even know.”
Boebert insisted her case was different because she had already moved to the Fourth District and had a new home in Windsor.

Video from the theater showed Gallagher rubbing her breast while Boebert pulled on his crotch while both were seated. Neither of them exposed themselves.
The Republican lawmaker was asked to leave after ushers noticed her vaping and taking photos on her cell phone.
She also sang along loudly and took selfies with the flash on, to the annoyance of other theatergoers.
Surveillance footage showed Boebert, wearing a tight, low-cut gold dress and high heels, making a fuss as she and Gallagher left. She took a selfie as she left the auditorium and bared her teeth angrily at the staff.
According to an incident report, the two received a warning about their behavior during the break.
But five minutes into the second act, security received another complaint about a person being loud and recording the show.
“They told me they weren’t going,” an usher said, according to the report.
“I told them they had to leave the theater and if they didn’t, they were trespassing.”
“The guests said they weren't going.” I told them I was calling the Denver police. They said go get them.'
Boebert and her smartly dressed date were then caught on camera running away through the empty nighttime streets of Denver.

It took Boebert several days to apologize after initially denying most of it. He claimed the e-cigarette smoke actually came from a smoke machine and issued a sarcastic statement downplaying the anger.
“The last few days have been difficult and humiliating, and I am truly sorry,” she wrote in a statement.
“There is no perfect plan for a public and difficult divorce that has become personally challenging for me and my entire family in recent months.”
Addressing the lies she originally told about the incident, Boebert wrote: “Whether it was the excitement of seeing a highly anticipated production or the natural fear of being in a new environment, I really couldn't remember “To have smoked that evening.”
Boebert's divorce from Jason, 36, her husband of 18 years and father of her four children, is still ongoing following the couple's shocking split in May.
Boerbert emphasized at the time that she had always been faithful throughout her marriage.
