At the end of January, the third season of La Voie des Étoiles, a Christmas special, ended at Disney Dreamlight Valley. Although most regular players had finished long ago, Gameloft has accustomed its fans to seeing the end of an event the arrival of a new update a few days later. Unfortunately it will obviously be necessary to wait much more than a week before you can touch the new features prepared for the third free update of the game.
We’ll have to wait weeks before we meet Mirabel and Olaf!
Over the past few days, Gameloft has been teasing the content that will be added to DDV during the next update. The latest tweet then reveals the Beetle, which will be the main gift for La Voie des Étoiles. A very cute message, but behind which hides a very sad observation:
“Since Update 3 is coming in a few weekswe thought it was time to do another preview…”

So don’t expect to get a Disney Dreamlight Valley update this week! With a range this loose, it’s hard to theorize when the update will be released. However, the “few weeks” can also mean that you have to wait for the week of February 13th or 20th, for example.
What is planned for the third update?
Note that like the previous two (Scar’s and Toy Story’s), this update will be free. Thanks to the 2023 roadmap shared by Gameloft, we also know that more content updates will arrive before the game becomes free to play and accessible to all.
Regarding the third February update, the following has already been announced:
No exact date for the third free DDV update, but we know that it will come in February with the following new features:
- The possibility of changing the external appearance of our house,
- More storage lines in chests,
- A “special snowman”: Olaf from Frozen,
- The mysteries of the Frozen Heights biome revealed (we will surely finally be able to free the pillar and access a larger part of the biome),
- Mirabel from the movie Encanto is added as a character to invite him to his village,
- way of the stars : It will be on the theme of Disney’s 100th anniversary!
- A rabbit disguised as some kind of mad hatter will be the main gift in La Voie des Étoiles.
