Comparison with other platforms

In 2020, Disney+ launched in Italy for 6.99 euros per month: in three years, demand (other things being equal) has almost doubled. A trend that, unfortunately, all platforms are following and that is causing the monthly expenses of streaming enthusiasts to increase.
However, Disney’s plan is not even among the most expensive compared to its main competitors.
The last one to increase the paid tariff in Italy was Apple TV+ which rose from 6.99 to 9.99 euros per month.
The request of Netflix for the plan with advertising it costs 5.49, but in the premium version it can cost 17.99 (and further increases are expected since it has already reached 23 dollars in the US). Here, too, you pay for the multivision option, with a surcharge of 4.99 per month for each additional user.
