Disney Plus is officially the new home of Netflix’s banished MCU shows

If you forgot to watch the Marvel Defenders series as Derdeville and Jessica Jones while on Netflix, these shows are no longer available as of yesterday. The good news is that Disney is freeing up space in its streaming service for all MCU-related TV shows.

From March 16, Disney + will be the exclusive place to watch each season Derdeville, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, Iron fist, The punisher, Defendersand even former ABC series SHIELD agents. which was clearly missing from the Marvel lineup. These shows will join those already available Agent Carter of Disney +, which are not designed for the service, nor are they strictly tied to the current Marvel Cinematic Universe storylines. However, the Netflix list, which has always been part of the MCU canon, has only recently begun to be mentioned more directly in newer Disney + movies / shows, so bringing them home makes more sense than ever.

Disney and Marvel have not said whether the series, which is migrating to Disney +, will receive additional seasons, specials or even movies, but with all these shows that appear in the mother’s streaming service, it certainly leaves some doors open. As for the more lavish nature of the former Netflix series (these aren’t fun family games), Disney + subscribers in the United States will see some “updated parental controls” land along with the shows. Canada, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia and New Zealand will also have access to these broadcasts on March 16.
