DJI Osmo Pocket 3 expected to launch with 1-inch camera sensor and rotating screen – notebookcheck.biz

Igor Bogdanov has revealed new details about the successor to the DJI Pocket 2. After sharing some footage of the camera earlier this month, Bogdanov has now uploaded a short video of the device in use and a list of specifications written in Chinese. For reference, we used machine translation to create the second image below.

As suggested in previous reports, DJI will launch a sequel to the Pocket 2 under the name Osmo Pocket 3. From generation to generation, DJI has not only changed the name of its products, but also replaced the 1/1.7-inch sensor with a larger 1-inch equivalent sensor. Additionally, like some DJI drones including the Mavic 3, the Osmo Pocket 3 supports 10-bit D-Log-M color mode.

Additionally, the upcoming camera features a small screen that can be rotated and moving it serves as a shortcut to start recording video. The same product description says that you can use the screen to quickly adjust camera settings or switch from horizontal to vertical shooting mode. In addition, the Osmo Pocket 3 has three microphones to record stereo audio and minimize wind noise, among other things. Unfortunately, the release date is currently unknown, as is the price and availability.
