Djonga enters the coveted Forbes Under 30 list of 2022

Djonga is the only musician on the list

the renowned magazine forbes published this Thursday (29) its traditional Forbes Under 30, this time for the 2022 edition, which highlights young people who have excelled in their respective fields of activity. The list has names that people are very familiar with and national rap has its name stamped there. Djonga made the list as outstanding in music. Another name that is spoken a lot RAPMALS this year and that’s on the list is the Kasimiro Miguel.

Each candidate was evaluated on objective and subjective metrics and criteria, such as society (depending on the category), creativity, originality, disruption, and relevance, among others.

Djonga was the first Brazilian rapper to be nominated for the American BET Awards. In 2022 he released the album “O Dono do Lugar” on October 13, which recently ranked among the top 10 most listened to in the world on both Spotify and Deezer, and was also featured on a screen in Times Square, New York.

He is also the founder of the music label The groupthat aims to improve and professionalize the work of independent artists from Belo Horizonte.

Since 2017, the Belo Horizonteborn artist has published annually, always on March 13 (which was not the case this year): Heresia (2017), The Boy Who Wanted to Be God (2018), Ladrão (2019), Stories from my area (2020) and NU (2021).
