Do you dare to wear the men’s dress seen at Prada’s Fall Winter 2023-2024 show?

For several years, menswear brands have not hesitated to take inspiration from women’s wardrobes to bring to life pieces originally intended for women. We saw it last season with the skirt’s omnipresence at Ludovic de Saint Sernin, or more recently with the lace top seen at the Dsquared2 show at Milan Fashion Week this week. This time it’s Prada’s turn to transfer an emblematic item of women’s wardrobe to men: the dress.

Raf Simons and Miuccia Prada, who work hand-in-hand to design the Italian house’s menswear collections, closed their show today at the Prada Fall/Winter 2023-2024 show in Milan with a range of silhouettes featuring a men’s version of the famous dress show . The models therefore stepped forward in what appeared to be suede (aka suede or more commonly suede) long-sleeved dresses. They come in shades of sand, navy, brown and black and are worn over suit trousers with a coat of the same color and material. A luxe and twisted take on the Prada-style dress that should inspire next winter’s trends. So, ready to give it a try?
