Rai Uno will air the new Rai Fiction series Don’t leave me, directed by Ciro Visco and starring Alessandro Roia and Sara Felberbaum, in which Vittoria Puccini returns to television. Ever since Elisa di Rivombrosa, one of her most beloved characters, made her debut in 2001, the actress romantically linked to Fabrizio Lucci in the world of cinema has been living a top-secret relationship.
Lucci was born in Rome on July 30, 1961. As a photographer, he has worked on numerous television productions, including Don Matteo and Coco Chanel. He was one of the main collaborators of the Tuscan actor and director Leonardo Pieraccioni, starting with Se son rose… and A Fantastic Coming and Go. In addition to his work with Paolo Genovese on The Place and Freud’s All Guilt, he directed The Place, which was nominated for David di Donatello.
In 2013, Lucci and Puccini met while filming an adaptation of Anna Karenina. A reserved man and far from gossip, he wrote in an Instagram post that he was “happy” with Vittoria shortly after the two met.
In an interview with Vanity Fair, opera composer Giacomo Puccini praised the actor’s composure. “He’s a serious man,” Puccini said of him. “Very well versed, calm, without frustrations, fears. With him, my usual crusader syndrome is useless. Accustomed to the charms of the beautiful and the damned, I had never felt so secure in a story. When it comes to a daughter, you have to be careful.”
Puccini and Fabrizio are not officially married, but do not rule it out. Puccini discovered that love doesn’t necessarily mean pining and suffering in anticipation of the inevitable pain with Fabrizio, adding: “Fabrizio was never married, he has no children. He always said he was waiting for me. I finally feel fulfilled and at peace.”
