Doctor Who returned for Jodie Whittaker’s final appearance on Sunday.

Familiar faces soon began appearing in the feature-length episode, with Jodie’s time lord pitted against former doctors and favorite pals from years past.

In the opening scenes, the brave Time Lord raced to save the lives of the passengers on a space train fighting the Master’s latest Cyber ​​Men.

Along with companions Yaz (Mandip Gil) and Dan (John Bishop), the trio discovered that the Doctor’s robotic enemy was hunting for an unknown cargo.

Despite decades of absence from the Time Lord, the duo were still busy fighting for good and felt uneasy when hundreds of the world’s most famous paintings had all been removed from view.

Elsewhere, the Master (Sacha Dhawan) finds himself in 18th-century Russia, controlling the country’s king and royal family, resembling the real-life Rasputin.

When his face begins to appear in artwork, UNIT’s Kate Stewart (Jemma Redgrave) reunites Ace and Tegan with the Time Lord.

Desperate to save the Time Lord, Yaz plans a trap for the Master, who reunites with Inston Vee Vinder (Jacob Anderson) and Ace – who proudly parachutes into the time machine.

Our hero then meets many of their old incarnations, played by Colin Baker, David Bradley, Paul McGann and Sylvester McCoy.

As they set out, Ace and Tegan have poignant scenes with their own Doctor while the Time Lord switches between all of their past personalities.

Bradley Walsh also returned as Graham one last time to help out his former friend, splitting the pages when he introduced himself as both the hero’s friend and a former bus driver.

Kate came very close to the end when she was almost upgraded to Cyberman.

But along with the help of Jo Martin’s doctor, the team defeated the villains, with the master seemingly defeated as well.
