For the past few days, some English tabloids have been reporting strong resentments between Victoria Beckham and Nicola Peltz, Brooklyn’s new wife, the first of four children the singer had by former footballer David Beckham. Everything would have arisen from a misunderstanding about the dress to be worn on the wedding day.
There was even talk of the Cold War between mother-in-law and daughter-in-law, triggering the most imaginative gossip. As the colleagues from Fanpage.it report, Nicola herself thought of explaining exactly how things stand on the Variety pages:
According to the version the model told Variety, it all seems to have started when she last decided to wear a Valentino dress on her big day and not one of her mother-in-law’s brand.
“I would have worn it, I really wanted it, but a few months later, Victoria realized her atelier couldn’t do the job, so I had to choose another dress,” clarified Nicola Peltz. And he added: “Victoria didn’t tell me I couldn’t wear her dress and I didn’t say I didn’t want to wear it. That’s when the gossip started.”
