Crusoe, a wellknown internet dachshund, has updated his fans with some notsogood news.
In early May, the dog underwent surgery after losing movement in its hind legs.
The news was shared by tutor Ryan on the dog’s Facebook page on the 7th, which has more than 3 million followers.
The dog lives in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada and rose to fame after his owners shared photos of him in homemade clothes and his videos went viral.
He plays characters like chef, superhero, captain, fisherman, golfer, hockey player, among others.
Linguicinha currently has profiles on all social networking platforms on the internet. All followers and fans love the updates and know the dog’s daily life, but lately the posts have not been about cute costumes and videos, but about Crusoe’s postop struggle.
Dogs of this breed usually have back problems, such as not being able to jump from high places often.
In these cases, surgery and acupuncture tend to reverse the case, hopefully Crusoes will reverse.
The dog had previously undergone surgery for the same problem in 2016 when he was 6 years old and made a full recovery.
The current concern is old age, will health be able to be restored? Because today the pet is 11 years old, practically an old person.
He already had liver surgery last year and it was also a success, but these situations are never easy.
“Please keep our boy in your thoughts. He’s recovered fairly well from his first back surgery, but he wasn’t far from it when he headed for his first, so we’re expecting this to be a tougher recovery overall… Especially for that leg. I’ll try to give you guys some updates as I know a lot of you are concerned about him, but I’ll admit it kind of pissed me off… and he’s my only focus right now. Thank you for taking care of our sweet boy. Ryan, Lauren and Daphne,” the tutor wrote in the Post.
The post about Crusoe’s health received more than 110,000 likes, 30,000 comments and 2,600 shares.

“I understand your pain and what you’re going through. I pray Crusoe makes a full recovery and I pray his family has the strength to endure this fight with him. God’s blessings and healing to you all,” commented a second fan.
“Crusoe is so popular and brings us so many laughs. I pray for your healing,” Joan added.
Crusoe undergoes physical therapy and exercises daily to allow his paws to regain movement.
