Dog photographer raises £2,000 for food banks with photos of dogs catching cheese

A dog photographer who takes hilarious pictures of dogs trying to catch cheese cubes is donating £8,000 worth of pet supplies to local food banks.

Caroline Cowan, 56, from Falkirk, manages dog photography Carrie Southerton and hosts Catathon events, which feature dogs desperately trying to get treats in their mouths, six times a year to raise money for canine charities.

Last month, the mom-of-two raised £1,355 but was disappointed by the number of people who booked but didn’t pay or show up.

Now Caroline and her husband Alasdair have teamed up with Burns pet food, which will supply around a tonne of dog food to be donated to food banks, and hope to raise another £2,000 towards their goal.
