DOJ reviews classified Biden Vice President documents found at his think tank

Secret documents from when Biden was Vice President found in Washington office of HIS think tank: Ten files found a day BEFORE interim periods – but Justice Department investigation just released

The Justice Department has launched an investigation to review secret documents belonging to Joe Biden’s vice presidency found in a Washington DC office for his think tank.

Attorney General Merrick Garland has asked the US Attorney in Chicago to review the 10 files discovered by Biden’s personal attorneys at the Penn Biden Center for Diplomacy and Global Engagement the day before the Midterms, CBS News reported.

It’s unclear what the classified documents contain, but follows last year’s raid on Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago resort and as Republicans begin their investigation into the Biden family.

The report says the documents were found as Biden’s lawyers were packing up the office to leave.

The White House Office then notified the National Archives, which took possession of the documents on November 3.

Richard Sauber, special adviser to the president, told CBS, “The documents were not the subject of any previous inquiry or investigation by the Archives. Since that discovery, the President’s personal attorneys have worked with the archives and the Justice Department to ensure that all records of the Obama-Biden administration are properly in the archives.
