Doja Cat playfully nods to the opening credits of Friends while dressed as a DEMON to promote her new single… after blasting her critics
Doja Cat has been busy promoting her new single Demons, which was released on Friday.
And the 27-year-old singer got creative with her promo by making a reference to the opening credits scene of the sitcom Friends – all while dressed as a terrifying demon.
In a new TikTok, Doja rocks head-to-toe black body paint and a pair of devil horns while laying on a red couch, with the series’ iconic fountain in the background.
The overlaid image read “DEMONS” in the “Friends” font directly above her head as the clip quickly zoomed in on her.
Doja – who recently called her critics a “phony” – is seen sporting a menacing grin while decked out in diamonds and a barely-there black bikini.

She first teased Demons last March when she changed her profile picture on TikTok to show her in a supernatural costume.
She subsequently announced that the song would be included on her upcoming album Scarlet.
The Say So singer alluded to the upcoming release of her fourth record in an interview with Elle published last May.
During the session, Doja Cat expressed that her new project would primarily consist of rap songs, unlike her previous pop-oriented sound.
She explained: “I’ve been rapping since the beginning, and in the beginning I really couldn’t even sing that well – I’ve gotten a lot better.”
The performer also spoke about listeners who felt she wasn’t a good fit for the rap genre.
“I use my voice as a tool to create these worlds, and it’s okay if people think I can’t rap,” she said.
She also alluded to her new album being called Hellmouth last March, but later dropped the idea.
The Grammy-winning artist later revealed that her album last month was called Scarlet.
The singer sparked a minor controversy when she released her record’s cover art to the public last month, with numerous fans claiming it was almost identical to that of an album by German band Chaver.
