Not surprisingly, Tua Tagovailoa will miss Sunday’s Miami Dolphins game against the New York Jets at MetLife Stadium.

Head coach Mike McDaniel confirmed the quarterback is still following the concussion trial.
Tagovailoa suffered two possible concussions in five days last week. The center returned to action for the first time on Sept. 25 against the Buffalo Bills, despite staggering a few times after a tackle that saw his head hit the ground hard.
Then, on Thursday against the Cincinnati Bengals, another tackle forced rescuers to carry Tagovailoa off the field on a stretcher.
The NFL Players Association (NFLPA) has since exercised its prerogative to fire the outside neurotrauma counselor who cleared Tagovailoa to play the Dolphins again. The protocol should also be improved soon.
