In 1993, Dominic Sillon and Martin Cloutier, aged 21 and 23, graduated from the National School of Humor in the Humorous Creation category with hopes of making a comedy career—the beginning of a great friendship. A fruitful year at the famous humor institution, as Peter McLeod, Pierre Prince and Les Grandes Gueules also came from the same student body.

The duo in 2002, more than twenty years ago. Back then they hosted their own TV series Dominic and Martin on TQS (Noovo) in which they more or less told the true existence of two young roommates and comedians who dreamed of making people laugh. Her playing partners included above all François Léveillé (Gontrand) and Mélanie Maynard (Annie).

After a few solo performances, they perfected the art of punch and quick-wittedness as a duo.

Some ten years ago, fitter – and slimmer – than ever before, the two accomplices, in their happy forties, put the finishing touches on their fourth show, Fou qui s’ will be another, after a three-year hiatus dedicated to their respective family lives his big hit. They celebrated their 20th anniversary of working together.

On the Gésu stage in 2006, Dominic and Martin went for the absurd by donning the vintage costumes of famous superheroes Batman and Robin. Though they mastered the art of impersonation, the duo also excelled at stand-up, a style they still practice today. The following year, they took over radio animation at NRJ.

► Dominic and Martin present their sixth career show, simply titled Six, a show without compromises, where every gag is a matter of course. They return to their favorite style, the stand-up, in the simplicity of the gesture and the burlesque form, both in their fifties, more accomplices and masters of their art than ever. ► Martin and Dominic also work alone. Martin moderates on the radio, he is part of the team stand-up comedians, at the CKOI from 5:30 a.m. Dominic writes for several comedians for which he is a content producer Great, well-cooked ComediHa! and he teaches at the National School of Humor. Both are directors; in particular by 2Frères and Roxane Bruneau for Martin.
