The trailer for a new documentary series that gives an intimate look at the Trump family during the final months of Donald Trump’s presidency was released on Tuesday.
Brief interview clips are shown featuring the former president’s three grown children – Donald Trump Jr., Ivanka Trump and Eric Trump – along with Ivanka’s husband Jared Kushner and juxtaposed with a dramatic violin composition by Vivaldi in the newly released video, which lasts about two and a half years half minute.
The footage was released via Politico and is part of the hour-long trove of videos subpoenaed by the House of Representatives Special Committee to Inquire into the Jan. 6 attack on the US Capitol.
British documentary maker Alex Holder filmed several sit-down interviews with the Trump family and then-Vice President Mike Pence for his three-part documentary, Unprecedented, to be released on Discovery+.
In interspersed clips, the subjects can be seen behind the scenes as they prepare for their interviews. This view is contrasted with clips of her public statements at the Make America Great Again rallies and later at the January 6 riots themselves.
Don Jr. is shown on stage yelling, “We’re making the liberals cry again,” followed by a clip of him in front of the sink telling the camera that he’s “washing my hands after he’s punched a few.” has given”.
‘See that line?’ Ivanka, Trump’s second oldest, asks someone off camera about her mint green dress.
She appears to reference the Will Farrell-portrayed antagonist in the 2001 comedy Zoolander in a later clip, while continuing to tease about her looks.

Ivanka refers to a white dog walking under her feet and laughs: “Maybe, like Mugatu, I should just have the dog on my lap? Can I borrow your dog?’
Kushner, who is known for making few public statements, is asked if his tie is in the right position.
He and his wife both served as senior advisers in the Trump administration.
Eric, the youngest of Trump’s children by his first wife, is busily recounting the events he has spoken at before another video shows him in a recognizably more private moment.
“For the sake of this country, we’re going to get these guys,” he says without explanation over the phone.
All of their clips feature a video of Trump himself from a previously released teaser clip posted by Holder on Twitter.
The videos of his children’s interviews stand in sharp contrast to the former president’s calm, confident orders to direct the set he is appearing on.
The trailer highlights the sweeping control he exercises over his family, with one expert commenting on the “dynastic” approach Trump is taking to his real estate empire and running the country.
“They have their own base,” Trump said happily to the camera, apparently about his children. “It’s part of my base.”
The new video clip from his new documentary shows Donald Trump Jr. at a rally for his father telling the crowd, “We’re going to make liberals cry again.”
The clips are separated by the ex-president telling a crowd of supporters that “people have no idea how hard this family works”.
Videos are punctuated by black screens with white text, which together read, “Experience the three-part documentary event… with exclusive access… to the world’s most controversial family… Gaining power is easy… giving it up isn’t.”
The trailer’s climax comes as Trump tells a crowd of supporters at his stop-the-steal rally on Jan. 6, “Let’s all go down Pennsylvania Avenue.”
Cheering footage from past Trump rallies is being replaced by evidence of the violence his supporters caused on Jan. 6, including clips of people overpowering Capitol police and breaking into the complex.
“Got to get the cockroaches out, everyone,” someone in front of the Capitol yells at the camera.
The acquisition of Holder’s documentary, over which the Trumps said the Trumps had no control, prompted the Jan. 6 committee to schedule two new hearings in July to reflect the wealth of new evidence.
Holder previously told CNN that lawmakers have expressed particular interest in Ivanka.
He spoke to the committee behind closed doors on June 23 and subsequently revealed that comments made to him by the ex-president’s eldest daughter may conflict with what she told House investigators.
“As the President said, every single vote needs to be counted and heard. He stood up for the voiceless,” she said in footage made available to CNN.
“I think a lot of Americans are feeling very disenfranchised right now and are really questioning the sanctity of our elections.”
But clips of her testimony, which the committee played at their hearings in June, suggest she agreed with then-Attorney General Bill Barr when he said there was no widespread voter fraud.
