Donald Trump restarted his campaign this Saturday to participate in the 2024 election in two rallies, one in New Hampshire and one in South Carolina. In it, he tried to downplay voices calling for a generational change within the party or making voters weary of his character.
“Now I’m angrier and more engaged than ever!” he exclaimed in New Hampshire.
Donald Trump officially launched his campaign two months ago at his Mar-a-Lago club in Florida, but until now he had not held a campaign rally.
On this occasion, the former President delivered shorter speeches without appearing in front of large crowds. In the town of Salem, New Hampshire, he gave a speech in a high school auditorium. In the state of South Carolina, he appeared at the State House in the city of Columbia, accompanied by lawmakers and local leaders.

One of the central themes at these rallies was immigration, an issue on which, much like he did at the start of his 2016 campaign, he again made proposals to strengthen the border. He also made fun of the government of Mexican President Andrés Manuel. Lopez Obrador. He also boasted about the pressure he allegedly put on the presidents of El Salvador, Guatemala and Nicaragua to prevent their citizens from immigrating to the United States.
Trump is the only Republican Party representative to have stated his intention to run in the primary, despite being embroiled in various legal troubles.
