After South Carolina, Donald Trump wins two more Republican primaries. The former president of the United States was declared winner in Missouri and Michigan, two victories that bring him closer to the Republican Party's nomination for the next American presidential election.
In Michigan, Donald Trump defeated his rival Nikki Haley in the 13 precincts that voted, according to the local branch of the Republican Party. He also won the Republican primary in Missouri, according to an Associated Press forecast.
More than 1,600 Republican supporters took part in the primary in the western Michigan city of Grand Rapids to elect delegates tasked with replacing Donald Trump or Nikki Haley, the former ambassador to the United Nations, during the national nominating convention of the party to worship in July.
Republicans also held a primary on Saturday in Idaho, one of the last states to give Nikki Haley a lead ahead of Super Tuesday on March 5 – the biggest day of the primary, with 15 states and one territory taking positions must.

For this election cycle, Michigan Republicans have developed a hybrid nominating system consisting of a primary and a caucus. Donald Trump won Tuesday's primary, winning 12 of the 16 delegates and all 39 delegates still at stake Saturday.
For several months, internal unrest has rocked Michigan Republicans between supporters of former party president Kristina Karamo and those who voted on Jan. 6 to oust her and install Pete Hoekstra in her place.
