For the “Loss of Time” amount, you only need to tick the “Compensatory Actions” for the time lost in relation to your claim. Here are the mentioned compensable actions you just need to check on the website:
- Sign up for Equifax or TransUnion services.
- Set up and customize alerts related to monitoring services, including fraud alerts.
- Resolve any issues encountered while applying for credit approval due to monitoring service setup or fraud alert.
- Investigate and/or communicate with Desjardins or other information sources to understand and determine how to protect yourself from the consequences of personal data leakage at Desjardins;
- Take steps to fix identity theft.
