A door was torn off mid-flight
Last Friday, the door of a device of this type used by Alaska Airlines was ripped off mid-flight, prompting increased inspections by airlines.
The impressive images of the passengers were shared on social networks.
We can see that the device continues to fly despite having a gaping hole in the side.
The pilots were forced to make an emergency turn and brought the 171 passengers back to the departure airport about twenty minutes after takeoff.
