Until the last Friday of the year, few people knew Rebeca Cardoso or had ever heard of her. The First Lady of Salvador was known only to Bahians. But it was enough for her husband, the mayor of Bahia's capital, Bruno Reis, to make fun of Anitta (the singer had already said at Carnival that he was a hottie) and the country discovered the girl.
She behaved the same way when she announced her separation from Bruno Reis in March 2022. There were already rumors of a crisis, which she only tried to confirm on social media. The post mysteriously disappeared and she appeared at a public event days later with her husband.

The nurse didn't like the jokes between her husband and Anitta
36yearold Rebeca Cardoso drew attention when she reacted to the meeting between the mayor and the singer. Beca, as she is known, accused her husband of flirting, posting the shade on her Instagram and deleting it soon after.
Rebeca is Bruno's second wife. He was previously married to doctor Soraya Campos, with whom he has two children. Bruno is the father of a third child, Beca. Just like Rebeca said she was sick and justified why she wasn't at the party where the mayor was flirting with Anitta.

Rebeca is a nurse and is now studying medicine. When she was younger she worked as a model and was always invited to rehearsals. She lived in Rio de Janeiro for six years before returning to Bahia. It was during one of these comings and goings that she met Bruno, who she said had a “bitterness.”

“There was a friend of his who ran his campaign [no interior] and said that a friend was coming and he wanted to introduce me. When he arrived he introduced me to Bruno as a deputy and then I felt a bit strange because I don't like the title. Conquering women through titles is not my thing. Then I went away and stayed with my friends and he came back to talk to me. The other day his friend came to my door to convince my mother to give him my phone number and that was it,” she said: “Bruno is good at conversation, polite, friendly, everyone who knows you knows it…” . The two have been together for 13 years.

On her Instagram profile with 32,000 followers, Beca usually shows her everyday life with her son, in college and almost nothing of her intimacy with her politician husband. In some publications she recalls the phase in which she pretended to be a joke and is almost always compared to Paolla Oliveira. Especially now that it was “discovered” after Hurricane Anitta.
