Described as a kind woman, the grandmother appeared to be living with a disability, her neighbors told the Journal after hearing the sad news of her death.

Ms Racette-Beaulieu succumbed to her injuries in hospital.

Sustainable Efforts

If the reasons for this double murder remain nebulous, acquaintances of the young woman told us that she might have bad company.

Already on Thursday, the SPVM tried to collect as much evidence as possible from the crime scene.

This was scrutinized by investigators and forensic identification technicians with a fine comb.

Even the dog unit was sent out to search the area. There were housing in the apartment.

These were the 37th and 38th killings in the metropolis that year.
