Popular with international tourists, Old Montreal stays busy even in the summer.
According to new data from the Quebec government, tourists from Quebec are less likely to visit the metropolis.
8% of Quebecers will visit Montreal, while 19% plan to visit the Quebec region.

We have had extremely difficult years, 2020-2021 […] The hotel industry is doing well, the tourism industry is doing well,” he told TVA Nouvelles.

An expert interviewed at LCN says inflation is having “less impact” on people’s holiday plans.
“People have reserved this element in their budget to do good.” […] At the moment we see that reservations are going well, the season is going well too and we have no worries for this year,” said Martin Soucy, CEO of the Alliance de l’industrie touristique du Québec.
