dr Alex George showed off his slim looks as he revealed the secret to his “life-changing weight loss” this week.
The former ‘Love Island’ star, 32, took to TikTok as he chatted to the camera while strolling in the park.
Alex’s features appeared clearer after the health boost, having previously revealed his eating disorder after being “fat shamed”.
In the post, he said, “So I’ve lost a lot of weight in the last year, I would say a life changing amount of weight.”
“The main reason I was able to make the change was that I didn’t think about the weight.”

He continued, “Even though my biggest physical change has been losing a lot of weight, that was never my goal.”
Alex went on to say that he’s never “fixated on calories by number” or “weight on the scale,” and it makes people lose sight of why they’re paying attention to what they’re eating.
“If you’re trying to lose weight, it’s probably because you want to feel happier, healthier and more productive, but maybe it’s about your confidence or your mental health.”
He revealed that instead of worrying about calories, he simply cut the “toxic” things out of his life, including both people and alcohol.
He said he refused to limit himself and instead focused on nourishing his body.
Earlier this year, he bravely admitted he has an eating disorder and “didn’t eat for days” after two women verbally abused him at work.
The former reality star, who works as a UK youth mental health ambassador and emergency doctor, shared a heartfelt post on his Instagram.
Recalling the incident “a few years ago,” Alex said he could still hear the “cruel laughter” of the women as they “squeezed his stomach” in the canteen.
He uploaded a photo of himself in a smock and included a lengthy caption to raise awareness about eating disorders.

Alex began, “I’m going to tell you a story that I never wanted to share, but I think is important to raise awareness.”
He continued: “A few years ago I was standing in line at a coffee shop to get my lunch when two women approached me. “Okay, Dr. Alex,” followed by the other, who squeezed my stomach and said, “You’ve gained a lot of weight since Love Island!!”
They walked away laughing. This happened in front of a line of people and others seated around the canteen. I was embarrassed and ashamed.
“I was so disgusted with myself that I got out of line and not only didn’t eat for the rest of the shift, I didn’t eat for the rest of the day or the next.” Multi-day binge eating ensued. It really hurt.
“I was ashamed to go to work in a smock. Interestingly, no one would have known the impact it had on me. As with many others, this was done quietly.
“I’m not telling this story to ‘make it about me’, I’ve come a long way in my relationship with my body, barring a few issues we all have.
“I wanted to tell you this story because words hurt and can be long-lasting in your memory.” They can be a turning point for ED or trigger a relapse.

“That was a few years ago and I can still hear her laughter. It was cruel.’
“This is Eating Disorder Awareness Week and I just want to remind you that men have body image issues too, often quietly.”
Alex concluded his post by saying, “Please be kind to others, we all make mistakes, but think before you speak or type.” What’s a moment on your lips could be a lifetime in their minds.
“There are some incredible people and organizations working in this space.” Please check out @hopevirgo_ and @beatedsupport who are relentlessly pursuing their mission.
“Also listen to my @thestompcast episode with @angelascanlon telling her story with an ER. This is really inspiring and I have no doubt that it will help others.”
“Finally, I’d like to say that I’ve really hesitated to share this story, even though I’m about to click share, I have my doubts.
“I forgive those people and I love my body and everything it gives me.” I just hope this resonates with others and raises awareness. Let’s take care of each other, shall we?’
