Ramiro, on the other hand, will be more reserved about this revelation. Brucutu will face a crisis due to the multiple mentions of marriage in Globo's nine o'clock soap opera.

Dirceu tries to convince Irene and Antônio that Petra is not feeling well. Marino decides to investigate Dirceu. Lucinda takes on the role of president of the cooperative.
Caio leaves Aline in the monastery. Astonished, Irene comes to the conclusion in a conversation with Marta that Petra has changed after Dirceus' arrival. Marino agrees with Petra, Anely, Graça, Flor and Luigi on how they plan to set the trap to lure Dirceu by using Antônio's daughter as bait.
Thursday, December 21st (Chapter 196)
Marino explains to Petra how she can trap Dirceu. Marino meets Antônio. Dirceu is offended when Irene asks him if he harmed Petra during her childhood. Jonatas warns Graça to be careful with Dirceu. Antônio searches for Tadeu to find out who killed Sidney.
Irene is distraught when Antônio claims that Sidney's murderer and the person who ordered Daniel's death are the same person. Petra lures Dirceu to the riverbank and tells Marino that his uncle fell into the trap.
Friday, December 22nd (Chapter 197)
Dirceu confesses what he did to Petra when she was a child, and she responds by confronting her uncle. Dirceu is arrested and meets Antônio at the police station. Irene takes Petra in and feels guilty for not recognizing the harm her brother did to her daughter as a child. Caio is proud of Petra. Irene declares that she will take Dirceu's life. Flor argues with Ademir.
Saturday, December 23rd (Chapter 198)
Antônio asks Petra for forgiveness and confesses his love for his daughter. Petra faces Dirceu in prison. Menah asks Mara to marry him. Jurece blesses Petra. Petra discovers that Vinícius is alive.
