EXCLUSIVE: Disgraced Nickelodeon star Drake Bell is spotted at the gym in LA for the FIRST time since split from wife Janet Von amid reports he will be seeking treatment after inhaling balloons during probation
Former child star Drake Bell emerged without his wedding ring on his way to the gym in a rare sighting after splitting from wife Janet Von Schmeling after he was spotted inhaling balloons with their son in the car.
When spotted for the first time since his spouse reportedly ended their relationship and moved to Florida with their son, the 36-year-old actor, who is serving a two-year probation for child abuse, wore a Rolling Stones tank top, sweatpants and a pair of black ones Sneakers.
The Newport Beacher native, who rose to fame as a teenager with starring roles on ‘The Amanda Show’ and ‘Drake & Josh,’ tried to restrain himself while bowing his head under a baseball cap and shielding his eyes under black sunglasses.
During his relaxed outing, he made sure to stay hydrated before his workout by carrying a large reusable water bottle.
Bell appears to be making his physical fitness a priority after he was caught inhaling a balloon in the front seat of his parked car – with his toddler in the back – in Los Angeles in December.

According to Page Six, his partner is “fed up” with Bell after a balloon in his car was reportedly inflated and deflated outside his home for more than thirty minutes.
It’s unclear what if there was any substance in the balloon.
He then got his sleeping son out of the back seat of the car and brought him inside.
Drake was spotted heading to a local vape shop the next day; He left the store with a bag full of items and was seen parked in his car under a tree for 15 minutes and sucking on a balloon for almost 15 minutes.
He then went to a local Del Taco and then drove home.
“They had some incredibly good times before. He needs to focus on being healthy and they will make great co-parents going forward,” the insider said.
“It’s a bad moment for Drake. But he’s a great dad when he’s healthy and sober,” the source added.
Page Six reported that Janet, 28, returned to Florida with her son and approached a house there.

She is reportedly getting support from her family.
Drake and Janet first started dating in 2013 and married five years later in 2018.
Drake is currently serving a two-year probation on child endangerment charges for endangering a girl’s well-being when she was just 15.
Bell was sentenced to two years probation and 200 hours of community service in July 2021 after pleading guilty to child endangerment charges.
Authorities said a 15-year-old girl attended one of Bell’s concerts in Cleveland in 2017 and contacted Toronto police in October 2018 about sexual assault allegations.
Toronto authorities then forwarded their findings to the Cleveland Police Department, prompting an investigation.
They found that Bell and the girl had “formed a relationship” online prior to the concert, during which Bell sent the girl “inappropriate social media messages.”
