Drake plans to stop making music for “a little bit” to focus on his health

Drake announced this week that he plans to stop making music “for a while” because he wants to focus on his health.

“I probably won’t be doing music for a while. I’m honest,” the “God’s Plan” rapper said on his SiruisXM radio show “Table for One” on Friday.

His announcement came on the same day he released his new album For All The Dogs.

“I have to focus on my health first and foremost,” explained the 36-year-old. “And I’ll talk about that soon enough. Nothing crazy. But I just want people to be healthy in life. I’ve had the craziest problems with my stomach for years. I’m just saying something.” That’s it. Now I’m saying it. So I have to focus on my health and do it right.”

“Please don’t ask me how I feel if you can’t handle reality. That’s it. That’s it. I apologize in advance. “That’s probably the alternate album title,” he joked.

He also took a dig at his exes, saying: “You know the value of every wallet, but you definitely don’t know the value of hard work. But God bless you all and I hope that these songs are songs that you can enjoy and you can tell people it’s about someone else!” he laughed.
