Dramatic images of a massive fire that broke out at an oil depot in Russia about 60 miles from the Ukrainian border are emerging on Monday.

The cause of the Bryansk fire is unclear, but it comes after Russia last month accused two Ukrainian helicopters of attacking a similar facility in Russia’s Belgorod region, southeast of Monday’s blazes.

Photos posted online of the Bryansk fire show plumes of thick black smoke rising into the atmosphere and visible from miles away.
