An Ohio school bus driver quit in desperation after yelling at students who sprayed perfume on her bus and caused her an asthma attack while driving.

Jackie Miller was filmed telling students in the town of Amherst, where she had worked for the past two years, to shut up before finally declaring, “I’m done with this shit!”

The 15-year-old driver quit after the incident, throwing up her hands in what she told local outlets was persistent bad behavior from a certain group of students in her line, who she alleges bullied her out of the job.

As the video garnered millions of views, Miller became an unlikely hero, with scores of people jumping to her defense, believing she was a fair response to a dangerous situation. A GoFundMe page to support them, and a local shop even started selling t-shirts with their infamous outraged statement and donated the proceeds to school bus drivers’ associations.

Although Miller later told 3News that she regretted the incident, she said she would not take it back and that she felt her behavior was justified.

In the video, Miller could be seen storming down the aisle of her bus after a student told her that someone had sprayed perfume.

“How much more do you fucking expect me to take?” she yelled, then demanded to know which student had done it.

All of the students denied spraying anything, but Miller insisted she could “fucking smell it.”

“I’m sick of you, I’m done,” she said, pointing to individual students. ‘I’m going to fucking start kicking some ass in earnest.’

‘Do you hear me?’ She screamed. “My foot will be so high up your ass it’ll be dangling out of your fucking nose.”

When the kids repeatedly denied spraying perfume, Miller insisted she could smell it, saying, “I’m allergic to that shit.”

“I should get off that bus now and let you guys go the fuck home,” she said.

Despite the severity of her reaction, Miller later defended her actions, telling 3News how just a month earlier the same group of students had intentionally sprayed perfume on the bus and caused her to have a severe asthma attack.

“She sprayed perfume on the bus and I had a terrible asthma attack,” she said. “I had to stop the bus, grab my inhaler and try to open my lungs again. I made all the kids open all the windows they know.’

Miller explained that these students had been deliberately provoking her for years, and that when the perfume was sprayed again after the first incident, she finally had enough.

“I’m sorry about how that went, I’m really sorry,” she said. “I apologize for my actions, but I will not take it back.”

“This is an emergency for all bus drivers, we are being treated in the worst sense of the word,” she added. “We are treated with such a lack of respect.”

The Amherst school principal told 3News that the students were disciplined after the incident.

Local clothing store owner Jacqui Adkins said she felt for Miller after seeing the video and decided to make t-shirts to support her.

“We all kind of felt for her in that moment. We’ve all had bad days, we’ve all been through difficulties and our hearts just go to them,” she said.
