DreamWorks Animation has cut about 70 of its jobs, has confirmed.

“DreamWorks Animation has reduced its workforce by approximately 70 positions,” a spokesperson told THR. “Roles across all corporate functions, feature film, television and technology departments were affected as part of an overall cost reduction.”

The news comes as DWA prepares to release Trolls Band Together, the third film in the hit franchise, on November 17th. Anna Kendrick and Justin Timberlake reprise their roles in the film, which also features ‘N Sync’s first new song in more than two decades.

Earlier this year, DWA released “Ruby Gillman, Teenage Kraken,” which tanked at the box office, grossing $44.7 million worldwide, according to Box Office Mojo.

The studio had greater success last year with “Puss in Boots: The Last Wish,” which grossed $481 million worldwide and garnered numerous awards, including an Oscar nomination for Best Animated Feature Film.

On DWA’s TV page, the program includes “Gabby’s Dollhouse,” which is streamed on Netflix.
