In a video shared on social media, the man can be heard calling the presenter by name. Drew Barrymore, looking surprised, interrupts the conversation and replies, “Yes, hi! »
The “Charlie’s Angels” star then continued his conversation with Reneé Rapp, but the man approached the stage and apparently gave her his name. You know who I am. “I’ve got to see you sometime while you’re in New York,” he said as Reneé Rapp got up and began escorting Drew Barrymore backstage.
Security quickly intervened and stopped the stalker from getting close to the actress.
After a brief hiatus, The Drew Barrymore Show host and The Sex Lives of College Girls actress returned to the stage to continue their interview.
The man was identified as Chad Michael Busto, who has been arrested multiple times, including for sexual display. According to The Wrap, he has previously molested Amber Heard.
