The 42-year-old driver from St-Edmond de Grantham learned the hard way that drinking and driving don’t mix.

Sûreté du Québec patrol officers had good reason to suspect alcohol might be involved and asked the driver to blow into the approved detection device. The guilty driver was arrested after failing the test and taken to the Drummond MRC SQ station, says the Sûreté du Québec (SQ) spokesman.
After the alcohol analysis, the police officer determined that the driver’s alcohol content was above the legal limit. says Sergeant Valérie Beauchamps.
The driver was released on promises to appear and will appear in court in Drummondville in the coming weeks on drink driving charges.
