The Federal Highway Police of Goiás reported that the gang that invaded the singer Leonardo’s Talismã farm on Friday the 10th estimated a loss of about R$78 million. 420 tablets of base paste were found along with the suspects. Cocaine, totaling 436.95 kg, in the vehicle.

The operation was coordinated by the Military Police of Goiás (PMGO) in collaboration with the Federal Police (PF) and the Federal Highway Police (PRF).

According to PRFGO, the drug is likely of Bolivian origin and was intended to be dumped on an airstrip on the bank of BR070, near Leonardo’s property.

According to police, a team was patrolling the area when they noticed a small aircraft flying over the area at an unusual time and uncharacteristic of the location. They were subsequently informed by the singer’s staff about the invasion of the farm after the plane landed without authorization.

While the plane was on the ground, the suspects loaded the goods into a pickup truck and continued transporting them until they were intercepted by police. After an exchange of fire there was an attempt to escape. Two members of the gang were shot and taken to Jussara City Hospital but did not survive their injuries. Two other people fled through the forest and have not yet been found by the police.

In a statement sent to the website Poder 360, the military police reported that the dead were a man and a woman, both from Goiás, with previous convictions for human trafficking and murder, and were on the run. Two weapons, a satellite communications antenna and two radios were recovered from the suspects. All devices of “high quality and range”.

Leonardo takes no position

To the newspaper The day, the singer’s advisor said he did not intend to comment on the matter. “We will not comment. He learned everything from us on his team. Leonardo is on his ship, the Cabare. He leaves everything to the police,” said the artist’s advisor.

This is not the first controversy surrounding the singer at Talismã Farm. In 2021, Newton Rodrigues Passini, known as Passim and a close friend of Leonardo, died at the scene after two selfinflicted gunshots in one of the rooms of the property. One projectile hit the left wrist and another hit the left leg near the knee. He didn’t own a gun and the Glock 380 was illegal.

There were three other people on the farm at the time of the shooting. Because the death was ruled an accidental death and caused by the victim himself, no one was charged.
