Drake arrived for an unexpected interview with Jack Harlow at the 2022 Kentucky Derby — and drunkenly teased the crew behind the camera as they signaled to complete taping — during a live broadcast on NBC on Saturday (May 7).
The pair are reportedly on location to shoot a music video for Harlow’s new track Churchill Downs. Drake, who features on the Louisville native’s forthcoming album Come Home the Kids Miss You.

“I had to show up. I’m so proud of this guy,” said Drake of his appearance at the annual horse race.
‘And we’re drunk,’ added Drake, before correcting himself, ‘He’s sober. I’m drunk.”
The two were asked if they had a horse in the race, to which Drake grinned and replied, “We’re very busy.”
“We were forced to make a move on the one and only Happy Jack,” Harlow interjected. “Yes, obviously,” agreed Drake.
“It describes really well how I’m feeling right now,” Harlow said. “[If there] was a Happy Aubrey, we would too.”
As the conversation continued, Drake noted that the production was trying to wrap things up with the interview segment.
“You can’t give him the final signal,” he said. “What do you want to cut to? A shot of some badly manicured grass or something?”
