She started driving drunk and killed a bride on her wedding day. A tragedy within a tragedy. The woman was accused of causing “a fatal accident by drunk driving” and was therefore charged with four criminal offenses. It’s happening in South Carolina. The judge ruled that Jamie Lee Komoroski killed newlywed Samantha Miller, 34, with his car. The accusation: serious bodily harm and negligent homicide.
Komoroski, 25, appeared in court and burst into tears as a judge rejected her bail application after ruling she was a “dangerous” flight risk. The charges stem from an April 28 accident in Folly Beach that left bride Samantha Miller dead and three other people seriously injured. Authorities said Komoroski was “extremely drunk and speeding” when her Toyota crashed into the back of a golf cart carrying the bride, her newlywed husband Aric Hutchinson and two wedding guests.
