Dude dislocates his shoulder and celebrates the price is right

Last week on The Price is Right two of the most popular things on TV happened: someone won a big prize on a game show and a guy got hurt. Conveniently, both happened within the same 30 seconds.

The Week in Games: Protecting the precious and time-wasting platformers

Here’s footage of contestant Henry successfully guessing the price of a Hawaii vacation – meaning he’s secured a Hawaii vacation for himself and his family – and then celebrating accordingly by jumping back and forth all over the place while presenter Drew Carey in the background raves:

Unfortunately, that celebration came at a price: somewhere between Carey’s high-five and having to SPIN THE WHEEL, Henry dislocated his shoulder, and while the adrenaline seemed to carry him through those first few happy seconds, he actually ended up having to SPIN THE WHEEL , the poor fellow was not well.

Looking embarrassed and in no small amount of pain, Henry had to be escorted back onto the stage by a staff member and his wife Alice, who was then designated as the one who had to spin the wheel.

Which she did, and she did a hell of a job making an unexpected cameo on a TV game show wearing ugg boots and landing a 95, leading to another one-armed cheer before Drew had to remind the guy, “Do don’t do “harm yourself”.

Says the show’s crew, “Henry is better now and he’s healed,” and he’s ready to go on his big vacation. To wrap up this (ultimately) happy story, I just want to start by saying: Congratulations Henry, I’m glad you’re doing better. Second, I want to applaud the NBC writer for including this gag in his post:

She also proved that she has quite a magical talent by spinning a 95 and showing that she can definitely (dislocate) the load.

And third, Drew Carey looks damn good.
