Dudu Nobre is the new fifty year old on the block! As another spring is completed today, the samba dancer has many reasons to celebrate. The artist who conquered Brazil with his sound reaches half a century of life with a lot of learning. When the musician thinks back on his journey since his success in 2000, he looks back full of emotions.

— I never thought I could achieve so much in a relatively short period of time. A lot of people look at me and think everything was easy, but that wasn’t the case. The great thing about my story was that it changed the lives of my family and many people. — I focused more on exercise. And what I did is not stressful. If something bothers me, I take it and give it back (laughs). Your peace is priceless.

Health concerns have also been at the forefront of Dudu’s mind in recent months. He recently had a scare during a checkup which revealed a problem with his bowel, which he treated before it became anything more serious. Food was also an issue, but he doesn’t give up beer, just like a good samba singer.
— I have a phenomenon that is a little different from other bohemians. I started drinking late, when I was 40 years old. The problem is that in these ten years I’m trying to drink what I haven’t drunk in 40 (laughs). But we try to control ourselves. The swelling used to last a day, now it’s three have fun.
He has been married to Priscila Nobre for 13 years and states that nothing has changed in his personal life:
— My boss is calm. I even think that the shows strengthen our marriage because there is no routine explains the father of João Eduardo, 12 years old, and Alícia, 8, children from his current marriage, as well as Thalita, 20, and Lily, 21, fruits the relationship with Adriana Bombom.
