With Dune: Part 2 coming out soon, Timothée Chalamet couldn’t fail to praise his costars. That’s due to his appearances in the feature film in an interview with Variety.
The two have worked together before, such as in Greta Gerwig’s Little Women (2019), when Pugh received her first Oscar nomination for Best Supporting Actress in 2020.
“Florence is really special,” Chalamet tells Variety. “She’s an incredible actress. She was great in Dune really great. She brought Gravitas into the role. And I can’t believe my luck at this age… between Taylor Russell on To the Bones and Zendaya on Dune. And Austin Butler is in that film too.”
The actor also reveals that Florence Puh has finished filming ‘Dune’, commenting on Zendaya’s work in the feature, “She’s not done yet and it’s amazing. She brings with her exactly what she brought with her the first time which was amazing but in greater abundance. And she really has become a sister to me.”
They had previously acted together in Chalamet and Zendayae in Duna. The film grossed $401 million at the worldwide box office and received 10 Oscar nominations, including Best Picture.
The actor will star in the film about the chocolatier, Wonka, which is slated for release in December 2023. And in December of this year the film “Até ossos” will be released, in which he plays with Taylor Russel.
‘Dune Pt. II’
The film will explore the mythical journey of Paul Atreides (Timothée Chalamet) as he joins the Fremen in a war of revenge against the conspirators who destroyed his family and Chani (Zendaya). Torn between choosing the love of his life and the fate of the known universe, he struggles to avert a terrible future.
Based on Frank Herbert’s science fiction work “Dune” from 1984, the feature film is divided into two parts. The first part of the film won six Oscar categories. If you want to watch the first part, it’s available on HBO Max.
Dune: Part 2 is slated to hit theaters worldwide in November 2023.
